CLIMBING HIGHER TO REBUILD YOUNG LIVES

Why fundraise?

For Interplast, the money raised in 2010 funded teams of volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses to provide medical training to their colleagues in developing countries, and at the same time provide life changing operations to indigenous children with a treatable disability who otherwise would not be able to afford or access treatment.

For Whitelion, the money raised in 2010 went towards hiring a female outreach worker to support young Aboriginal women in the North West of Melbourne.  The outreach worker would be able to support and change the lives of approximately 20 young women.

What Is The Minimum Pledge?

You are required to raise a minimum pledge of $35 (individual) or $140 (team). The minimum pledge must be reached by all individuals/teams in order to receive your race kit (race bib, timing band and official event cap). If you fail to reach your minimum pledge you will not only NOT receive your race kit but you will not be guaranteed a start time and will jeopardise your future involvement with the Eureka Climb. Reaching your minimum pledge is a simple process using our online fundraising system, see below.

How To Fundraise

All fundraising will be completed through this website, when entries open (early August) both individuals and teams will be able to set up their own fundraising page and encourage their friends and family to support them via this. We will also include advice on fundraising and how to make the most of your page through other methods of promotion such as facebook, twitter and you tube.

Run To The Roof

As a fundraising incentive, individuals who raise over $500 and teams who raise over $2000 will be rewarded with a trip to the Eureka Tower roof top. There you will be able to take in the magnificent views of Melbourne and receive an official photo shoot. Be sure to get in early and start fundraising now, a prize like this does not come along often and is limited to a strict number of people.
